Fairly Interested

I just realized that at some point in time, I created a blog to go along with my youtube channel.  It surprises me that I've already completely forgotten about this, because I only made my new youtube channel about four months ago.

I've been into watching makeup videos for a while, but lately I've been following some youtubers who also have really well-made, polished blogs.  Writing is something that I've loved doing for a while, it's always come without much effort to me.  I don't say that to brag, I just think there are some things that come naturally to people, and for my whole life writing has been like that.

Unfortunately, with college and work, I never have any time to write any more for myself.  I mean really sit down and write something out, not haphazardly scribble down an idea before I forget, of some idea that I'll hopefully develop one day when I have time.

I miss writing, but unfortunately the only things I get to write now are my school assignments.  There are so many hours in a day, and so many of those are taken up by school and work.  The other hours, my free time not spent doing homework at least, I have already allocated.  I've been making youtube videos for a few months now, and while I do really love it, the whole process takes so much time. Youtube isn't just about filming a video, uploading it, then forgetting it ever happened.  It's a community, there are a million other content creators out there making things that I want to watch, so I watch them.

This of course means I don't have time to do all the other things I want to do, like reading all the books I have waiting on my shelf, or finally organizing my room that will never be clean.  It most of all leaves me no time to write, unless I stay up to a ridiculous hour like I am now, spilling my thoughts onto a keyboard as they come to me.

What I'm saying is, right now this might be my only post for a while, just because I don't have the time to make this blog be what I want it to be.  I don't want to be using some preset template and posting ramble after ramble.  I want to have a polished blog that is filled with good writing and pictures, something that actually contributes to something.  But for now, I'll be content with saying that hopefully, one day I'll have time for this blog.
